Founder / Instructor

My passion in life is advocating for girls and women to know who they are and own their superpowers.

• Emotional Intelligence Certified (EQPC & ECAC)
• Co-author, And the Whole World Stopped (2024)
• Currently implementing my customized Pearls by Choice after school program (Washington School for Girls, Washington, DC)
• Mentored 4th and 5th grade girls (Arlington County, VA & Charles County, MD)
• Member, The Washington Section - The National Council of Negro Women, Inc.

 In 2003, I founded Pearls by Choice.  The program's origins began as an abstinence-based ministry. I taught and mentored teenage girls on the importance of maintaining a healthy self-esteem and choosing true safe sexual practices.  I authored a four-part curriculum to accompany and facilitate the workshops. 

Even with my many obligations, my most treasured roles are wife and mother.

Mentor 

Works as a Budget Analyst with large accounts. 

New things inspire me. I am the type of person who likes to change up my hairstyle or clothing style often. For me, too much of the same can get mundane.
