Developing a healthy and strong self-esteem will impact important life outcomes, as well as their relationships and their health. Statistics show that having a relatively low self-esteem will have significant real-world consequences. In this program the students will examine and explore the elements of developing and maintaining a healthy self-esteem, values and standards. The student will also apply what they learned to real-world scenarios. The knowledge, skills and tools gained will equip the students to make optimal choices for the challenges they will face in the future.
Students will identify positive character traits in themselves, analyze the difference between positive and negative peer pressure and understand how it may directly relates to the level of success they will achieve now and in the future.
